carbon footprinting overview
What is a carbon Footprint?
A carbon footprint is the total set of greenhouse gases (GHG) emitted due to the consumption of fossil fuels by a particular person, product, event or organisation. The main influences on carbon footprints include population, economic output, and energy and carbon intensity of the economy. Businesses tend to target these factors when looking to reduce their carbon emissions.
